In life, no matter how old we get, we can never stop learning. It’s especially good to learn in our teenage because peaks and valleys we usually face during our teenage are life-changing lessons for the rest of our upcoming life. So there’s no better time to make mistakes than our teenage, The important thing is to learn from them, and continue discovering who we are.

In honour of my birthday week, I thought it would be fun to round up 20 things I learned during this amazing roller coaster journey while being 20! This is a fun way to reflect my teenage on my top 20 faves as well as to make my teenage memorable in the form of a blog post.

-I started reading books in 2018 and discovered my new hobby “READING”.Unfortunately, I discovered it very late but I don’t kick myself for not starting it earlier. Yeah, I don’t regret!

-Never study for grades and marks, our fundamental target should be to learn new things, learn new skills without wasting time. Grades come automatically if you know how to do smart work!

-Scheduling our day is the best habit I’ve learned to achieve goals. I always schedule 30% more work to timetable so that I will not gonna please myself at the end of the day and will work harder the next day to achieve more and more.

-Never allow toxic people and old friends who left for benefits to come again in your circle. They will ditch and damage you again, even after saying sorry one hundred times.

-Always respect parents. Never stop respecting parents just because they are not buying you an iPhone 11. Your parents will be the only ones to back you in your hard times.

-Creativity is not only related to drawing, painting or sketching. Doing something unique by anyone in anything which increases its value is creativity for me.

-Stop thinking about “What people will say about you”.Do what you love.

-Best way to remember what you read in the book is to discuss/share it with someone close to you within the next 24 hours after reading.

-Trying, failing and falling is Ok, never give up because of failing. It doesn’t matter how many times I get myself fail. The only thing that matters is how many times I get back up.

-We should always spend time with ourselves. Taking out 20 minutes out of 24 hours helps us to focus, to increase productivity. Going to a walk by yourself, writing blogs, reading books, talking to yourself out loud can help us to increase productivity.

-I love writing on random topics, Blogging is my second best hobby. I love sharing my views. It doesn’t matter how much views I get on a blog post.

-How can I do a better job today? What can I do to increase my productivity? Where do I see myself in the next 10 years? are the questions I ask to my mind after wake up in the morning.

-I feel depressed whenever I think about my future. I feel torn apart from inside when I think about my future career. The job insecurity has always made me dejected. I often pray and ask Allah (GOD) to make everything happen which is good for me.

-Social media was a broken window of my productivity. It’s been more than 4 years when I deleted my social media applications the first time.No doubt it was hard to live in the start but now I am loving my no social media life.

-Pro-activity is the first habit of successful people. If something happens wrong, instead of reacting, try to focus on pro-activity. Look forward to the solutions available. Never play the blame game because you are responsible and response-able for where you are today because of the practices you have done yesterday.

-If I ever think I cannot do something. I shift my mind to some other work and after some time I ask myself: “Should I give it?”. My inner inside say “No you cannot let it slip in this manner!”

-Always try to stay positive and humble to others. We can only rule our mind by controlling negativity and doubt. Thinking is among the greatest powers we possess, and it’s totally in our hands to use it negatively or positively.

-With the time I’ve learned that I can’t please everyone every time. I don’t need everyone to exactly think as I think. I cannot respond to every criticism. It’s better to ignore than respond.

-Taking initiative for something is hard but when we take the first step, the next step becomes easier. Doing things slowly is not as bad as doing nothing.

-Parents should never have a strict check on their children. They should allow their children to explore. It helps to grow a child mentally. They’ll surely meet some bad people, will sit in some bad gathering but it will help them to know what is good and what is bad for them!

Thank you, everyone, for support and love.

Until Next!
